Rolling with Pride: Celebrating Diversity and Inclusivity in Tabletop Gaming
In the heart of every game lies a story, a journey, and an expression of identity. At Fanroll, we don’t want to just make dice, we want to craft experiences that resonate with every roller, every gamer. This passion led us to one of our most meaningful collaborations yet: the creation of the Pride Dice Trays, in partnership with Tabletop Gaymers.
Our journey began with a shared vision with Tabletop Gaymers, an organization whose mission is promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion by championing the visibility and recognition of the LGBTQIA+ community through tabletop gaming. Through events, outreach, and advocacy, they’ve fostered an environment where everyone can be their authentic selves, united by the love of gaming.
We wanted to create something that wasn’t just functional but also symbolically meaningful. Each tray features a flag from the LGBTQ+ spectrum – a representation of the varied identities within the community. From asexual to bisexual, gay to intersex, lesbian to nonbinary, pansexual to rainbow, and transgender – our goal was to ensure that each tray was not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and respectful of the flags it represented.
Our collaboration with Tabletop Gaymers is just the beginning. We’re excited about continuing to support initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion within the gaming community. After all, gaming is about coming together, sharing experiences, and embracing the unique stories we all bring to the table. Stay tuned for the next step!
